Our Research Groups
EnerGhentIC strongly believes in a multidisciplinary approach since the energy challenge is more than just finding new and innovative technical solutions for the transition puzzle. It is much more complex with an important role for e.g. political and social sciences, the economics of climate policy, the aspect of energy law and legislation, the environmental impact of organic chemistry, public opinion and the acceptance process of new energy approaches, and so on.

Our community therefore encompasses both the technical sciences as all of the other societal sciences, ensuring a holistic approach to the energy transition.
