3 SEPTEMBER 2024 | GHENT
LEARN. BE INSPIRED. TAKE ACTION.
Are you an industry professional, a policy maker, an academic, an NGO
or just interested in how you can stay ahead in the topic of flexibility?

Then join us for an enlightening event on the future of flexible electricity consumption
Households are becoming key players in making the electricity system of the future possible through flexible electricity consumption. You know the concepts by now – from smart charging to smart heating and more.
The electricity consumption of millions of assets will be actively
controlled by apps and algorithms.
But as we move closer to this future vision, many questions arise:

How do users influence what is possible in practice?

How much can flexibility contribute to Belgium's security of supply?

What can a household expect to earn from flexibility across the various value streams, from self-consumption to providing network services?

Which next steps are needed in terms of policy?

How to manage user data, gain the user's trust and ensure cybersecurity?
Learn from some of the pioneering companies about what works and what doesn't, with a keynote presentation by Centre for Net Zero, Octopus Energy group UK. Don't miss the opportunity to network with experts, share ideas and be part of shaping the electricity system of tomorrow!
